1. Who we are

SC Consulting Group Sdn Bhd (202501026124 (1627537-X)) of L1-01, Level 1, CoPlace 5, Persiaran APEC, Cyber 8, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor operates businessgrowth.my and runs the Business Growth Masterclass under the RichMinds brand. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to RichMinds. We are the data user under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not collect sensitive personal data such as health, religious or political information.

3. Why we use it

To process your registration and payment for the masterclass.
To send your confirmation, joining link and event reminders by email and WhatsApp.
To provide support before, during and after the event.
To keep accounting and tax records as required by Malaysian law.
To measure how our website and advertising perform, in aggregate.
To tell you about other RichMinds programmes — only where you have consented, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Your consent

By completing registration you consent to us processing your personal data for the purposes above. Supplying your details is voluntary, but without them we cannot register you or issue your joining link.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the masterclass, and only to the extent they need it:

OnPay — registration form and payment processing.
Our email service provider — sending confirmations and reminders.
WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — sending joining instructions and managing the participant group.
Our video conferencing provider — hosting the live session.
Our web host — storing website data on servers.
Meta, Google and TikTok — website analytics and advertising measurement, only if you accept cookies.

We may also disclose data where required by law, a court order, or a lawful request from a regulator.

6. Transfers outside Malaysia

Some of the providers listed above store data on servers outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data receives a comparable level of protection to that required under the PDPA.

7. How long we keep it

Registration and event records are kept for as long as needed to run the programme and to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations — normally seven years for financial records. Marketing contact details are kept until you withdraw consent. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's standard retention settings.

8. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the website working and remember your cookie choice. Analytics and advertising cookies from Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel are loaded only after you select “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you decline, those scripts are never loaded and the website works exactly the same. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

9. Security

We use HTTPS encryption across the site, restrict access to registration data to authorised staff, and never store card numbers or banking credentials ourselves — payment details are handled entirely by OnPay. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

10. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
limit how we process your data;
stop using your data for marketing.

Email support@businessgrowth.my and we will respond within 21 days. We may need to verify your identity first. A small fee may apply to data access requests, as permitted under the PDPA.

11. Participant privacy during the programme

The masterclass involves interaction between participants. While we take reasonable steps to protect privacy, we cannot guarantee how other participants will use information shared during sessions or in group chats. Please share only what you are comfortable making known to the group.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants by email.
